
Patrick Wilson is an award-winning Broadway, film and television actor – and also happens to be an alumnus of Broadway Theatre Project. He is currently enjoying great success as the star of the new CBS television series, A Gifted Man, a supernatural/medical drama in which he portrays Dr. Michael Holt, a top brain surgeon haunted by visions of his ex-wife.
Patrick made his Broadway debut in 1999 in The Gershwin’s Fascinating Rhythm, and then went on to a lauded career on The Great White Way in such notable shows as Barefoot in the Park and Arthur Miller’s All My Sons. His acclaimed work in Oklahoma! and The Full Monty earned him two consecutive Tony Award nominations for Best Actor in a Musical and, for the latter, a Drama League Award win.
One of Patrick’s primary introductions to the national scene was his featured role as Joe Pitt in the 2003 award-winning HBO drama, Angels In America, for which he received both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. From there he went on to many memorable roles in motion pictures that included The Alamo, The Phantom of the Opera,Hard Candy, Little Children, Running With Scissors, Watchmen and his most recent release, Young Adult, co-starring Charlize Theron.
Patrick earned a BFA in Drama from Carnegie-Mellon University.
