Gregory Butler - Dance Faculty

Gregory Butler- Greg is originally from Detroit, Mi.  He is a former student of The Juilliard School.  He has been dancing since the age of 15.  While in Detroit he danced with The Unique Dance Co. and Detroit City Dance Co. before moving to NY to attend Juilliard.

His credits include: Broadway- Chicago, All about Me and Raggedy Ann.  National Tours-Chicago (Original 1st National, 2nd National), Martin Guerre, Evita, Applause and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Off Broadway- Here Lies Jenny ( Starring Bebe Neuwirth).

He has also appeared in Commercials,  Workshops and Stock and Regional productions.  His Tv and Film credits include-The Producers, The Trap (Rita Wilson, Director) and the ABC series Life On Mars.  

Gregory was selected by Ann Reinking to be the dance captain for the 1st National tour of Chicago which lead him to dance captain  the 1st and 2nd Nationals and the broadway company.  He has been with Chicago for 14 years.  He is also one of the associate choreographers for the production which has taken him to Denmark, Argentina, Amsterdam, Korea and Sweden.  Chicago has given him the opportunity to work with some of our brightest star's from TV and Film like Melanie Griffith, Rita Wilson, Ann Reinking, Chita Rivera, Bebe Neuwirth, George Hamilton, Wayne Brady, Jennifer Holliday, Kara Dioguardi and Joel Grey to name a few!
