
Karole Foreman: The Los Angeles Times singled her out as "...one of the most versatile and accomplished stage actors in Los Angeles."
Karole was an original cast member in the Mark Taper Forum's premier of Jelly's Last Jam and appeared in Tony Kushner's adaptation of The Illusion, among many other role in L.A. theatre. She has also appeared regionally in theatres across the country including The Goodspeed Opera House, The Pasadena Playhouse, the Denver Center Theatre Company and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, as well as at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts' Summerfest in Santa Maria, California, where last fall she played the title role in another Tony Kushner piece, the Tony Award-nominated musical, Caroline, Or Change. Karole originated the role of Tanya in the Las Vegas company of MAMMA MIA! and has appeared in numerous television shows and commercials.
Karole is the 2008 recipient of the Edgerton Foundation grant for her musical The Princess and the Black-Eyed Pea of which she wrote the book and lyrics. The show also garnered the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation Award and a Richard Rodgers Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
